I’m a licensed massage therapist (LMBT NC #22197) and somatic practitioner specializing in trauma healing. I help people increase their sense of embodiment, heal from past wounds, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Through a combination of somatic modalities, I support clients in coming back into relationship with their bodies, regulating their nervous systems, and healing from the effects of trauma in a way that feels safe and sustainable.

I’m a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) and a Transforming Touch® Practitioner, with a focus on developmental trauma. I also offer Holistic Pelvic Care™ for those seeking to restore balance and vitality to the female pelvic bowl. My sessions are available both in-person in Durham, NC, and virtually for clients around the world.

I believe everyone deserves to feel deeply connected to themselves and to life. I’ve witnessed the profound transformation that can occur when we return to the body and begin to trust its innate wisdom.

I’m grateful to be on this journey and look forward to supporting others in their healing.

I am a cisgender, heterosexual white woman of Irish, Italian, and Scottish ancestry. I name these identities because they shape how I move through the world — and how I show up in healing work.

I’m committed to practicing cultural humility, unlearning inherited bias, and creating spaces that are gender-affirming, anti-racist, and inclusive of all identities and bodies. This is ongoing work, and I welcome feedback on how I can continue making my practice more accessible and welcoming.

My Story

My own journey towards somatic healing began with a passion for restorative yoga, which I discovered in my late 20’s. I was immediately drawn to the deep sense of relaxation that it brought me, but over time, I began to realize that something was still missing. I struggled with mysterious health issues and a sense of disconnection from my own body that I couldn't quite understand.

It wasn't until I found Somatic Experiencing therapy in 2019 that everything began to click into place. Working with a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) allowed me to delve deep into my own body and emotions, and to begin to understand the root causes of my struggles with health, self-worth, and relating. I knew that I had found the missing puzzle piece to my healing journey as well as my calling.

As I continued to explore somatic healing, I also discovered the transformative power of Holistic Pelvic Care, Transforming Touch, and feminine spirituality.

Today, I am dedicated to helping people find their own path to healing and empowerment, by weaving together these modalities in a personalized way. Whether you are struggling with the aftermath of trauma or simply seeking a deeper connection with your own body, I am here for you.

With a deep commitment to empathy, compassion, and respect for each person's unique path, I strive to create a safe and nurturing space for my clients to explore and heal. I believe that every person has the power to transform their own life, and I am honored to be a part of that journey.
